SALVATION ARMY BUSHFIRE APPEAL
The Nepean District Cricket Association would like to support the relief efforts for the current bushfire disaster in the Blue Mountains. Many of our Clubs and players have been affected by this tragedy and we are keen to assist by donating funds to the Salvation Army Bushfire Appeal (http://salvos.org.au/).
UPDATE 29/11/2013: The NDCA, 8 member clubs and the umpires have all kicked in to raise $10,468 for the Salvation Army Bushfire Appeal. We thank everyone involved for their generous donations and we hope the money raised goes a small way towards helping those affected by the terrible tragedy. Donations were collected from:

ADAM CROUCH FOUNDATION
Adam Crouch was a loving, thoughtful 3 year old boy who tragically drowned in a backyard pool on 12th October 2007.
The ADAM CROUCH FOUNDATION aims to:
* Help educate the public about the risks associated with backyard swimming pools.
* Promote further research into the prevention of drowning.
* Form partnerships with peak organizations who are working towards drowning prevention.
