SALVATION ARMY BUSHFIRE APPEAL
See the attached letter of thanks from The Salvation Army for our fundraising efforts.

UPDATE 21/01/2014: The NDCA, 8 member clubs and the umpires have all kicked in to raise $11,668 for the Salvation Army Bushfire Appeal. We thank everyone involved for their generous donations and we hope the money raised goes a small way towards helping those affected by the terrible tragedy. Donations were collected from:
Cranebrook CC - $750, Emu Plains CC - $800, Glenbrook Blaxland CC - $1500, Glenmore Park CC- $1200, Henry Lawson CC - $100, Panthers CC - $700, St Clair Hawks CC - $200, St Clair United CC - $484, Umpires Association - $100, NDCA - $5834.

Springwood Cricket Club also held their own fundraising event and raised over $7,500 for those affected by the bushfires.

ADAM CROUCH FOUNDATION
Adam Crouch was a loving, thoughtful 3 year old boy who tragically drowned in a backyard pool on 12th October 2007.

The ADAM CROUCH FOUNDATION aims to:
* Help educate the public about the risks associated with backyard swimming pools.
* Promote further research into the prevention of drowning.
* Form partnerships with peak organizations who are working towards drowning prevention.
